Buena Vista Social Cafe

The Cuban feel is unmistakable from the moment you climb the somewhat shabby staircase with its faded paintwork. An eclectic assortment of furniture harmonises perfectly with the natural brick walls which display a myriad of prints, photos and paintings depicting Cuban culture. The mood is enhanced by listening to a selection of classic and contemporary Latino music whilst enjoying one of the many superb cocktails on offer.

The traditional menu offers an excellent selection of Tapas (both hot and cold). Try the Cous Cous Salad with chick peas, chilli, avocado and dried apricots which is a perfect choice for vegetarians, or the Lamb and Spinach Salad with sunflower seeds and croutons for an unusual combination of texture and taste.

With a cozy fireplace and a heated verandah, the restaurant is ideal for all year round entertaining. Last, but by no means least, Buena Vista offers an impressive range of cigars, including all the famous Cuban makes, as well as a selection from the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.
